Quality & Food Safety Policy

    QUALITY SPICES, a company dedicated to the spices sector, condiments and sauces since 2004; Quality, Safety and Food Defense are the main keys of our business, therefore all our effort is oriented to obtain it through the following actions:    

    • Leadership and commitment of senior management, making sure to provide the necessary resources and skills which contribute to the effectiveness and improvement of the management system.
    • Comply with applicable legal/ regulatory requirements and regulations affecting stakeholders and the ability to achieve products that satisfy the mutually agreed requirements with customers.
    • Plan actions to approach risks and opportunities that impact on the conformity of our products, in order to increase positive effects and to prevent undesirable ones.
    • Continuous improvement of our processes, for which it is necessary the analyse of historical data to learn from our performance in the past and to accomplish Quality and Total Food Safety.
    • Maintain the Food Defense Plan to ensure the manufacture of safe products preventing malicious damage.
    • To prevent Food Fraud, ensuring the production of legitimate products controlling possible adulterations in the supply chain.
    • Safety and Quality is teamwork, through close coordination and internal communication between all members of the company in a appropriate environment and external communication with the interested parts.

    In conclusion, Quality and Safety Food will be present at each and every stage of the production and distribution of our products.





Over the years, our effort has driven us to achieve:
    - Implementation of HACCP System in 2008, subject to periodic inspection by relevant authorities.
    - Certification in ISO 22000 since March 2011, Food Safety Management System. Re-certification in 2014.
    - And FSSC 22000, Food Safety System Certification since May 2014.



Quality Control / Laboratory

    From raw materials to the ready final product, it is implemented a strict traceability plan and the necessary inspections in order to guarantee the control of the production process.
    Our facilities includes a laboratory with the most modern and complete instrumentation in microbiological and physic-chemical analysis (spectrophotometry, liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, microscopy, PCR, ...) developed to accomplish current legislative requirements.
